2026-2027 PCMHA Player Registration Information

All minor hockey registrations are to be completed through players’ Spordle Accounts, through the Hockey Canada Registry.

 Registration for base fees and tryouts will open on Monday, August 3, 2026.

Competitive & Tryout Registration:

The DEADLINE for any player wishing to tryout for a competitive team will be the Saturday prior to tryouts. Dates TBA.

This applies to all U11, U13, U15, and U18 players.

Tryout Fees:

The tryout fees for all levels U11, U13, U15, and U18 is $125.00/per player.  This is only paid ONCE per player regardless of levels of tryouts.

The BASE FEE and TRYOUT FEES must both be paid at the time of registration to participate in tryouts.

There is a mandatory non-refundable $75.00/per player late fee applicable to any player wishing to register for tryouts past the deadline.

Refunds for tryout fees will be processed ONLY if a registered player decides not to participate in tryouts. There will be NO REFUNDS for partial participation, no exceptions.

U9 Assessments:

The registration DEADLINE for U9 Assessments is Saturday, September 26, 2026, at midnight. Players registered

after September 26, 2026, will not participate in U9 Assessments, and be placed on a Development Team.

There is NO FEE for U9 Assessments.

Non-Competitive Registration:

Registration for Non-Competitive players will remain open until October 1, 2026.  All registrations after October 1, 2026, will be charged a mandatory non-refundable $100.00/per player late fee.

After October 1, 2026, Non-Competitive Teams will be assembled and regular season will start after October 17, 2026, as

indicated by Hockey Nova Scotia.

Please Note:   Registrants after October 1, 2026, may experience a delay being placed on a team, so we urge players to get registered as early as possible.

The PCMHA Hockey Canada Registry Online Catalogue closes on October 31, 2026, and anyone wishing to register after this time must

email registrar.pcmha@gmail.com to confirm availability.

2026-2027 Registration Fees:

U7 - $535.00

U9 - $610.00

U11 - $710.00

U13 - $890.00

U15 - $1050.00

U18 - $1050.00

Registration Fees Include:

• mandatory $100.00/per player fundraising component for the 2026-2027 season via the sale of raffle tickets. (Funds related to the sale of tickets (20 x $5/player) are collected at the time of registration, and each ticket seller keeps funds collected upon the sale of their tickets.)
• mandatory $10.00/per player jersey/equipment fee 

Registration Payment Options:

1.  25% of base fees to be paid upon registration in 4 equal installments. Payments process on the 21st of each month from September through to December.

  2. Full payment at registration.

Competitive Fees:

Players placed on a competitive team (U9ADV, U11AA & A, U13AAA, AA, & A, U15AA & A, U18AA or A) after tryouts/assessments, must pay an additional competitive fee of $475.00/per player. Competitive Fees will be available to pay online through players’ Spordle Accounts once competitive teams are assembled.

Players assigned to a competitive team must complete the Competitive Fee registration prior to October 31, 2026.

Players not fully registered (BASE + COMPETITIVE FEES) will not be able to participate and will not be approved on the official HNS roster for games.

 Competitive Fee Payment Options:

Refunds:

PCMHA offers a full refund for registered players deciding not to participate (not placed on a team).

All other refund requests must be requested in writing to pcmha.hockey@hotmail.com, for review and approval dependant on the circumstance. As per PCMHA Policy, no refunds will be considered after December 31, 2026. (Partial refunds for players missing ice times due to injury, etc., are not considered)

Discounts/Funding:

PCMHA offers a Family Discount of less $100.00 per second child, and less $200.00 per third and any subsequent children.

This discount will be calculated automatically at time of registration. Please note: if you do not register your children together online, you will not be allotted the Family Discount. The discount will not be offered at a later date, so please be sure to register all siblings at the same time.

Players applying for funding assistance through Kidsport, JumpStart, or Hockey Canada Assist, are required to pay registration in full (or installments) at time of registration and will be reimbursed their full funding approval once received by PCMHA. (Note: registrations paid via installments – outstanding instalments will be paid out before any amounts are reimbursed)

Dishonored instalments could result in a player being excluded from Championship Weekend(s). 

Registration for U18 Over Age Players:

U18 Over Age players must be approved by Hockey Nova Scotia prior to registration, team placement, and process. Application forms areis available on our website, and must be completed along with a letter from player’s high school stating that they are registered in Grade 12, and submitted to pcmha.hockey@hotmail.com.
